Sugar Beach

The Sugar Beach Resort is located in Kihei on a beautiful beach. The units are comfortably furnished and have full kitchens with a dishwasher and a microwave. The 1 bedroom units will sleep 4 guests. All units are equipped with central air conditioning, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, safe, cable TV, VCR and high-speed internet access (fee). The property has a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, BBQ areas and a putting green. There is a small shopping plaza located at the property while other shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Guests will love the beach which is great for swimming and long walks. Sugar Beach Resort is continuing to do exterior renovation work that began on November 19, 2007 for a period of approximately 13 months. The work includes repairing the concrete on the vertical walls and lanais, scraping and removing the old paint, then sealing and painting the walls, walkways and lanais. The hours of work is scheduled for 7:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday and intermittent Saturdays. Unfortunately, some of this work may require the use of chipping and/or jackhammers which will be noisy and dusty. The contractor has advised that while the work being done is quite extensive, the disruption to guests staying in adjacent units will be minimal. The pool and all shops will remain open and there is still "beach access." Blocks are being implemented throughout the property to try and keep guests away from the scheduled work. In addition, Sugar Beach no longer has any tennis courts.
