The Aston Maui Lu is located in Kihei and has units on both sides of South Kihei Road. The property, renovated in 2008, has hotel rooms that will sleep a maximum of 4 guests. All units have air conditioning, small refrigerator, coffee-maker, shower/bathtub and cable TV. The property has expansive grounds, pool, tennis courts, BBQ, volleyball and central laundry facilities. Guests can walk to the beach. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away. All rooms are non-smoking. This is a budget property for travelers looking for inexpensive Kihei accommodations. The property will be undergoing several renovation projects during this summer, 2009. From July 6, 2009 until August 2, 2009, the pool will be closed for upgrading. Guests can use the Kihei Aquatic Center which is a few miles from the Maui Lu. New furniture and a BBQ area will also be added. From August 3, 2009 until August 17, 2009, the reception area will be upgraded. The property will be resurfacing the front and rear walkways, replacing lobby carpet & furniture and adding new lighting. From June 15, 2009 until July 3, 2009, the property will be closing the oceanside units to repaint the walkways and the exterior of the buildings. Brand new lanai furniture to the oceanside units will also be added. The General Manager and Staff will do everything possible to ensure the comfort of all guests.
