The Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas (ResortQuest is now Aston) is located on the beach in Kaanapali. The hotel room will sleep 2 guests. The studio units and 1 bedrooms will sleep 4. The large units are comfortable, nicely furnished with air conditioning and have internet access. The studio and 1 bedroom units have full kitchens that include a microwave. Guests can request a unit with a dishwasher and a DVD. Some units have a lanai. The property has two newly renovated pools, jet-spa, fitness center, day spa and a restaurant located near the beach. Guests can enjoy the wide, sandy swimming beach. All units are non-smoking. The property will be undergoing a $1.6 million lobby enhancement beginnin on April 12, 2010 with a scheduled completion date of July 31, 2010. The project includes new flooring, wall coverings, lighting, artwork and decor as well as brand new meeting space. Work will be done Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:30OPM and work areas will be cordoned off from view and most heavy work will be completed during the first 2 weeks. The Front Desk & Activities Desk will be moved to a clearly marked unit adjacent to the lobby. The four low-rise buildings will not be affected by the construction and will remain open throughout the project, but from April 12-April 30, the Aloha Tower (in which the lobby is located) will be closed. Effective May 1, the property will make only the upper floors of the Aloha Tower available to guests in order to create a buffer zone to minimize noise & disturbance. Cold beverages, snacks & cold towels will be provided to guests upon arrival. The complimentary daily coffee service and the complimentary Mai Tai party will continue throughout the renovation period. The Day Spa and the One Stop General Store will be closed for the duration of the project and will re-open in August, 2010. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to minimize any guest inconvenience.
