Oahu including Waikiki

Oahu is the main island and is home to Waikiki, Honolulu and Diamond Head. When people say they are flying to Hawaii, they usually are referring to Honolulu International Airport. Some of the local landmarks include the USS Arizona Memorial and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Waikiki is world famous for its' beaches, shopping and restaurants. In the last few years, Waikiki has undergone a major transformation with the new Waikiki Beach Walk as well as a major renovation to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center and the Ala Moana Shopping center.

Maui

Maui is the second most populated island. There are three distinct vacation destinations on Maui:

Almost all of the Kaanapali condos are on the ocean and there are properties in all price ranges. All of the Kaanapali hotels are beach front and upscale. There are golf courses both in Kaanapali and Kapalua. There is a wide variety of shopping available including the tourist area on Front Street, Whaler's Village and the Cannery Mall. There are also several grocery stores and strip malls between Kaanapali and Kapalua.

Most of the Kihei condos are across the street from the ocean and there are only two Kihei hotels. Kihei is primarily known for its' affordability and comfort. There are great beaches at Kamaole I, II and III as well as grocery stores and shopping. It is very common for people to vacation in Kihei for one, two or three weeks at a time.

Wailea is an upscale destination primarily with Ocean Front properties. The beachfront Wailea Condos are all upscale while there are also three Wailea condos that are less expensive because they are 1/4 to 1/2 mile back from the beach. In general, the accomodations in Wailea are very much upscale and exclusive. The Wailea Hotels are all on the ocean and very deluxe. The primary shopping center in Wailea is the Shops at Wailea.

Kauai

Kauai has three distinct vacation areas:

Most of the Poipu condos are on the ocean and there are properties in all price ranges. The Poipu hotels are beach front and upscale. There is a golf course and several upscale restaurants. The primary shopping center is the Poipu Shopping Village. Poipu is the called the sunny side of the island..

All of the Kapaa condos and Kapaa hotels are on the ocean. There is a nice mix of properties in all price ranges. The area has a great golf course and several shopping centers including the Coconut Plantation Marketplace. This area is popular for people who want a central location for beginning their activities.

The Princeville area at Hanalei is one of the wettest areas on earth and is home to upscale golf courses and residences. There is a very limited selection of Princeville Condos and Princeville hotels. This is a great area for outdoor activities and simply escaping from it all.

The Big Island of Hawaii

The Big Island of Hawaii has three distinct vacation areas:

The Big Island is serviced by two airports. Most visitors use the Kona airport for access to the Kona Coast and the Kohala Coast.

All of the Kona condos are on the ocean and in general offer moderate to mid-range accomodations. There is a downtown shopping area that features a wide selection of shops and restaurants. There are very few beaches along the Kona coast.

The Waikoloa Condos and the Mauna Lani condos are generally more upscale and most are on or near a golf course. The major shopping and restaurants are at the King's Shops. There are also restaurants at all of the Waikoloa hotels.

We only offer one Hilo hotel and it is very moderate. Hilo is closest to the volcanoes.
