The Aqua Island Colony is located in the center of Waikiki and is a great property for guests who desire a good value. The property offers hotel rooms, studio units and 1 bedroom units. Both the hotel rooms and the studios will sleep up to 4 people while the 1 bedrooms will sleep 5 people. All units are equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. The studios have a kitchenette and the 1 bedrooms have a full kitchen. All units have cable TV, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, safe and a balcony. Guests will enjoy the large pool deck area that includes a sauna and a jacuzzi. There is also Wi-Fi available in the lobby. The Island Colony is just a short walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Beginning on September 27, 2010, the property will be closing the swimming pool and hot tub on the 6th floor for repairs and upgrades. The work is expected to take approximately 3 months and will be done Monday-Friday between 8:00AM-4:00PM. There will be some noise during this renovation period. The surrounding recreational deck area will remain open and will be available for sun bathing. The sauna, laundry facilities and mini-mart will continue to be available for guest use during normal hours of operation. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to minimize any guest inconvenience.
