The Aston at Papakea Resort is located on the ocean (short walk to the beach) in Kaanapali. The property consists of eleven low-rise buildings and has beautiful gardens. The studio units will sleep 2. The 1 bedroom units will sleep 4, the 2 bedrooms will sleep 6 and the 3 bedrooms will sleep 8 guests. All of the units have fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning (living room only), coffee-maker, cable TV, DVD player, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and a washer/dryer. The property has 2 pools, 2 jacuzzi's and WiFi internet access. Guests will enjoy playing tennis on the 3 lighted courts or practicing their putting on the putting greens (fee). A swimming beach is next door at the Kaanapali Shores. All units are non-smoking. The property is doing an exterior renovation project beginning on April 9, 2012 with a scheduled completion date of December 21, 2012. The project will include installing new lanai railings and re-painting building exteriors. The project will focus on only four of the resort's eleven buildings. There will be no disruption to guests staying in Buildings A-F. The project should not impede guests from enjoying the resort and its' expansive grounds & lovely gardens and swimming pools. Work will be done Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM. Work on Saturdays is possible, but will be avoided, unless necessary. No guests will be placed in the building being worked on. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
